Swansea Print Workshop

Swansea Print Workshop | Open Day 2017

Swansea Printmakers originated as Swansea Print Workshop’s response to the restrictions we were operating under due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and its ongoing uncertainties.

The dedicated online exhibition site offered our members and associates a space to exhibit work during these challenging times. It was also a place for artists to share their creative processes and printmaking techniques – a community of learning that SPW has always valued and encouraged in support of artistic development.

We also feature here work of many artists in residence and exchange schemes we have benefited from in the last twenty years as part of our history.

Today, this dedicated online space continues to offer those opportunities alongside our in-person programme of activities. It provides an accessible means to exhibit work – both for the artist and the viewer – as we continue to share our passion for printmaking and build on the depth and breadth of our substantial archive of prints and drawings.

If you are a supporter and/or member of SPW and would like to propose a curatorial approach for an exhibition or showcase a solo or joint exhibition, we would be pleased to hear from you.

Members should also refer to the Exhibiting & Selling Work section of the Members’ Area on Swansea Print Workshop.

Further information on our artist-members and their work for sale can be viewed in our Online Shop.
